Hydration is the key component to herd health and performance. It keeps your whole herd milking, energized, and healthy. For over twenty years, Bovine BlueLite has been proven to be an effective way to ensure that your herd is well hydrated to maintain milk production, and to encourage dry matter and water intakes. An easy-to-administer electrolyte, Bovine BlueLite is very palatable, buffered, and provides added energy sources and vitamins necessary to help recover from dehydration.
Bovine BlueLite helps cows to rehydrate in times of stress, helping cows to rehydrate and maintain normal body fluid and electrolyte balance to help ensure top performance. When cattle suffer from dehydration, potassium is the first electrolyte that is excreted. As a high potassium electrolyte, Bovine BlueLite provides cattle with a source for quick replacement. To combat the loss of body fluids that many cows lose at freshening, add Bovine BlueLite to water, TMR, or top-dress on feed to help replenish and re-establish a positive energy balance. During heat stress events, reduce the negative impact on a cow's immune system and reproduction by using Bovine BlueLite prior to and throughout a heat event. When administering to the whole herd, mix Bovine BlueLite with the grain portion of the TMR, or for optimum distribution mix with water and then add to the TMR. Veterinarians, nutritionists and dairy producers agree that Bovine BlueLite can be used in many ways and is one of the most effective hydration products on the market.
