How Probios Precise Works
Probios® Precise is a stabilized source of Enterococcus faecium and Saccharomyces cerevisiae microbials. It helps manage rumen pH levels and maintain dry matter intakes in livestock during times of stress and ration changes. This targeted response is attributed to the scientifically selected microbial strains from the labs and research trials of Chr. Hansen, the world's microbial experts.
Precise is designed to be used during the transition period and throughout lactation fed on a continual basis. Reported research within the microbials (DFM) included in Precise demonstrates that these microbials manage the rumen pH and minimize problems associated with subacute rumen acidosis (SARA) SARA is associated with health and performance problems that occur under during feed sorting, forage changes, heat stress, and the transition from dry cow to lactation rations. (Learn more about How Probios Precise Helps Fight Heat Stress.)
Used throughout the transitions and lactation periods, Precise has been proven economically effective from reductions in animal health costs to an increase in production.
The Targeted Response of Probios Precise
|Size||25 lb Bag|
|Cost/Feeding||$0.06/head/day based on 2 gram feedings|
Feed Probios Precise at the rate of 2 grams/head/day. For optimum results, use 3 weel prepartum.
Tip: Can be used with rumensin
Keep away from children. For animal use only.
In the event of overdose, contact a veterinarian or health official
Storage and Handling
Store in a cool, dry area for maximum stability. Avoid leaving bag open for extended periods of time.
The selected Enterococcus faecium microbials in Precise work to stimulate the growth of lactic acid utilizers which work to effectively balance the microflora, increase ruminal pH, and help the animal remain healthy.
