Probiotic Paste™ is a stabilized source of lactic acid bacteria, yeast and inulin. Provide to beef cows, dairy cows, swine, sheep, goats, and horses at times of stress, such as ration change, birth, weaning, shipping, overcrowding, weather changes and following antibiotic treatment. Lactic acid bacteria supports normal appetite and digestion.

How it works

Since one direct fed microbial alone cannot provide all the required health benefits, Probiotic Paste™ contains four species of live naturally occurring lactic acid bacteria including three species of Lactobacillus (acidophilus, plantarum, casei) along with Enterococcus faecium. Live Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus casei and Enterococcus faecium all ferment lactose into lactic acid. As direct fed microbials, they promote breakdown and assimilation of nutrients while helping to maintain proper gut flora. Yeast helps with additional digestive support. Inulin helps support the direct fed microbials.

Directions

Place the tube in a dosing gun and remove the cap. Hold the head of the animal in slightly elevated position and place the nozzle on the back of the tongue. Feed the recommended amount slowly, allowing time for the animal to swallow. Do not give to animals that are unable to swallow.

Feeding Recommendations

Cattle and Swine:
     Newborns: 5 cc
     Growing: 15 cc
     Post Antibiotic Treatment: 30 cc
     At Freshening: 30 cc
     Adults: 30 cc
Sheep and Goats: 5 cc
Horses: 30 cc

Repeat feeding as needed

Lactobacillus acidophilus strains PS-503 and PS-501 are for improving gut absorption and maintaining proper gut flora. Lactobacillus plantarum strain PS-517 promotes breakdown and assimilation of nutrients. Lactobacillus casei strain PS-519 is for providing enzymes and factors necessary for proper digestion. Enterococcus faecium strain PS-404 is for supporting bowel health and help improve gut absorption.
