Better than similar products
A pancreatic tumor necessitated the complete surgical removal of my pancreas and gall bladder, and partial resection of stomach and small intestine. Now I can't adequately digest food without taking supplemental--- or in my case, replacement--- digestive enzymes. At first I took prescription pills made from slaughterhouse byproducts. No good. I kept losing weight. I then started shopping at co-ops and health food stores, trying probably four or five different brands and formulations of digestive enzymes. The Garden of Life Enzymes have worked much better than any others. I take this particular version of the product since I am a male, well past the age of 50 (although "wiser" is a separate issue entirely!) My weight is stable and my digestive tract is more tractable. I recommend Garden of Life enzymes to anyone else who's had the Whipple surgery. Also, be sure to eat at least one raw apple every day. Good luck to you.
