Angels’ Eyes Natural contains a proprietary blend of Cranberry Powder and Oregon Grape and Marshmallow Root. These ingredients work together to reduce oxidation released through tear ducts.
There are hereditary factors that may cause eye staining, such as overly watery eyes or small tear ducts. Many small dogs have large eyes, which makes the dog more susceptible to eye irritation, and short muzzles which is less conducive to healthy drainage. Some dogs inherit structural defects that may result in eye stains.
Irritants from poor hygiene, such as dust, excess grooming products, and ingrown hairs can produce eye matter, which can lead to more tearing and staining. Wet facial hair is a breeding ground for yeast and bacteria.
There are many other circumstances that can affect tearing, such as puppies cutting their first teeth, any teeth or gum problems, ear infections, and low-grade bacterial infections in the tear ducts. Allergies to the environment and certain ingredients in food or treats can also be a factor.
There are many topical solutions on the market that require a lot of time to administer and can be stressful to you and your dog. Mist of them also use ingredients such as artificial coloring, corn, soy, or wheat, which can result in worsening the stains. Angels' Eyes all-natural formula does not use anything that may cause skin irritations or allergies. Instead, it utilizes anti-inflammatory properties and antioxidants found in marshmallow and grape root and cranberry powder.
Results can be seen anywhere from three to five weeks, depending on your dog's hair growth. The stained coat should be trimmed regularly as the new coat grows in.
The chicken flavor is very palatable, and the included scoop make Angels' Eyes easy to administer. It should be given daily until the tear stains are eliminated, and then continue use for an additional 30 days. The procedure may be repeated if new tear stains appear. Store bottle in a cool dry place.

I use it every day
review by Lacey
My puppy, Cleo, had horrible tear stains under her eyes that went all the way down to her mouth. I tried all different kinds of shampoos and creams, but none of them really worked. I started using this because of a friend, and it cleared up the stains better than anything else. I use it every day. (Posted on 1/20/11)

Purple stains are gone!
review by C.K. Jamieson
We rescued a little white bichon-mix from the pound. She had purple stains all around her mouth and eyes. I have never experienced all that goes along with a little dog before and thought proper care would help. Not so! We had her groomed and gave her good food and even though she was healthier, she still had these crazy stains. We asked the vet about it, and he said this product was safe. Within a week and a half of starting this product, her eyes were clear. And it keeps working even if you accidentally skip a day once in awhile. Now little "Gabby-Lou" looks like the angel she really is! (Posted on 1/3/11)
