Biotene Veterinarian Drinking Water Additive

I purchased this product after my 9 yr old adopted sheltie, Sissy had her teeth cleaned at a whopping price of $320, when we adopted her she had the equivalent of trench mouth. Thankfully after a very intense cleaning and antibiotics she did not lose any teeth and she was a new and happy girl. I give both my shelties Virbac CET chews, Littleman my 3.5 yo sheltie has beutiful teeth with no need for cleaning.And I attribute it to these chews. My dog will not let me brush her teeth or any kind of gel or antiseptic. She has had regular teeth cleanings but less than 6 months after her teeth have plaque and tarter build-up. She is an older dog and I don't like to have her sedated. I have tried other water additives and they have loosened plaque and tarter but not removed it. My vet recommended Biotene one month ago and I can't believe how white and clean her teeth are and that means she won't have to have her teeth cleaned or scaled as frequently. I have an 11 year old dog that even though I would try to clean her teeth and use dental treats etc. she would still have a lot of tartar and end up having teeth pulled. I bought this product on a whim thinking it wouldn't do much and boy was I wrong. Her teeth are fantastic and I only use 2 squirts in her water bowl daily! I have a Crested that has always had problems with her teeth. I had to get them cleaned by the vet several times, which was really stressful because they would have to sedate her. The last time I had them cleaned, which was several months ago, I started using this water additive after, and has it ever made a huge difference! Before, I could see the plaque building up on her teeth, but they've stayed clean this whole time! I love this product! My 3 Italian Greyhounds have major teeth problems. They have had many teeth pulled and I have spent alot of money trying different products. I have used this product for 9 months and have definitely noticed an improvement in their teeth.
