Ear Care with Comfrey is a safe and natural way to treat common ear problems in dogs. It is safe to use daily for ear infection prevention, and can also be used to treat acute problems. Ear Care is a holistic treatment that soothes and protects your dog's ears.
It is important to consult your veterinarian, but dog's ear conditions can be hard to diagnose. Symptoms that your dog may experience include shaking or tilting the head to one side, and the area around the ear can often become feverish and painful. Earache is a common ailment among dogs and can often be treated without chemical pet medication.
Comfrey contains allantoin, a natural compound that is known to speed up the replacement of cells in the body. It works to produce rapid healing for cuts, bruises, and other open wounds, and it is also an effective treatment against bacterial, fungal, and yeast infections. Not only does comfrey help to speed up the healing process, but it also helps to relieve pain as soon as it comes into contact with the skin. It helps to reduce inflammation and swelling.
• The ear should be cleaned prior to use, with a little apple cider vinegar on a cotton ball. Fungus and bacteria infections are usually alkaline. Apple cider vinegar is acidic and helps to neutralize the pH. Clean out only the wax you can see; never pour the cider vinegar into the ear or push the cotton ball in further than you can see.
• Shake the Earcare thoroughly before use. Remove tip, puncture container with a pin and dispense a small amount into each cleaned ear. Gently rub the outside base of the ear, so that the liquid can drip down further into the ear. Comfrey has such antifungal and healing properties that it causes harmful bacteria to implode upon contact. This product can also be used for fungal infections between the toes, which can also be wiped with a small amount of apple cider vinegar beforehand. Chronic, persistent ear infections and irritation of the feet are commonly a side-effect of food allergies. Often, a dietary change to a food without wheat, corn, soy or chemical preservatives, will prevent further problems. Earcare may thicken slightly in cold environments – place unopened bottle in warm water to soften before use. Finish the whole bottle, do not stop treatment half way through.
