PetsPrefer Joint Plus for Dogs contains a blend of ingredients that have been proven to help support healthy bones, joints, and surrounding tissues. It contains glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate, perna mussel, MSM, manganese, Vitamins C and E, and ginseng.
Glucosamine is a natural supplement that is easily absorbed and may stimulate the production of substances that help maintain the health and resiliency of joints and their connective tissues. It may also help treat arthritis and prevent cartilage degeneration. In osteoarthritis, the cushion that surrounds the joints becomes thinner and stiff. Glucosamine is used in the body to create the cushion, so taking glucosamine as a supplement might help supply the materials needed to rebuild it. Chondroitin is often given along with glucosamine because its use may increase the efficacy of the glucosamine. Extract of Perna Mussel is added because it contains additional glucosamine and other compounds that help maintain joint function and mobility. MSM supports healthy connective tissues such as muscle, tendons, and ligaments, and also helps to maintain synovial fluid that lubricates joints.
Joints Plus was created to support the whole dog, and because of this, contains several extra ingredients that help with total health. Manganese is a necessary part of a number of enzymes that are essential in detoxification of damaging free radicals. Vitamin C is an antioxidant used in many metabolic reactions and is also important for the healing of wounds. Vitamin E is also an important antioxidant, and is involved in immune function. The last ingredient, ginseng, helps to increase resistance to stressors, both chemical and biological, and helps to build energy and general vitality, which helps your dog cope with external stresses.

terrific outcome
My 100 pound, 10 year old Great Pyrenees was limping. His first joint up from the front paw was noticeably swollen. I put him on this joint plus twice a day for 6 weeks. His stool started to get too soft, so I knew he had reached maximum intake and it was time to back off to once a day. He has not limped since; what a relief!

Fantastic outcome
My dog Tanner and my Daugthers dog Emma have been taking these for awhile now, and they have done wonders for them. Emma is 11 and Tanner in 9, and both had joint problems where they were limping, not any more. This is a great product.

So Far So Good
My dog "ChuChee" is about 15yrs old and sometimes drags her hind legs. It is heartbreaking to see. Since using you product for arthritis I feel I am doing the best I can to help make ChuChee's days less painful. She is walking better but seems old age cannot be stopped. I feel sometimes this medicine is really for ME trying to releive my dog's pain and dragging her hind legs. Whatever I am happy I tried your product knowing I am doing the best I can.
Taste
Wish you could make product taste better. I must use garlic press to powder down product and fold into eggs, or wet dog food. My dog will NOT eat your product. I must mask your pill with something or my dog will NOT eat your pills. I see some improvement but unsure if giving my dog your product helps my feelings for dog's arthritis. Thank you anyway for helping.
