K9 Advantix® provides protection against more pests than other topical product. It offers 5-way protection, repelling and killing fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, and chewing lice, and repelling biting flies. It is a once-a-month topical that is also waterproof.
This topical kills between 98 and 100% of fleas within 12 hours of application, and the protection lasts at least four weeks. It also has been proven to protect against ticks, often repelling and killing them before they attach, reducing the potential of tick-transmitted diseases. K9 Advantix® protects your dog from mosquitoes, thereby reducing the itchiness, discomfort, and immune responses caused by the bites. Step 1
The dog should be standing for easy application. Part the hair at your dog's shoulder blades to expose the skin.
Step 2
Apply product evenly and directly to the skin in three or four spots along the dog's back by squeezing out the tube's contents.(For dogs 20 lbs. or less, apply on one spot.)
Step 3
Be sure to empty the entire tube by the end of the application. Your dog's natural movements will help spread K9 Advantix over the skin.

Works as they said it would...
Our dog, Kylee is allergic to fleas, so we had her on a topical year round. Eventually, she developed immunity to the other ones we used, and she got a horrible case of dermatitis. We had to put her on steroids to clear up her skin, but she gained a lot of weight and was still miserable because she still had fleas. We tried Advantix, and the fleas were gone within a week. It was like a miracle. We've been using this for about 6 months now, with no more problems. We've also noticed that we've found way fewer ticks after hiling and camping. Kylee is so much happier now, and her skin looks great.
Works well
We use the K9 Advantix. It works well and keeps on working longer than other brands we tried. With cat and rats dropping in to our yard as well as the squirrels we feed, it is a constant battle to keep the fleas off of our dogs. Using Advantix along with the 24 hour Capstar flea pills seems to be the best fit for our neighborhood.
In the past we liked the Frontline Plus, but the fleas became resistant to it and they started showing up again in about a week.
I suggest buying small packages of different brands to see what works in your area and eventually changing to another brand if fleas become resistant. The 24 hour pill Capstar is a great tool to give your poor dog some relief when things get too crazy and can be given along with the topical products.
Be careful not to poison your dog. Do not mix the topical products. If one does not work, wash your dog well and make sure it is gone before giving your dog another treatment or product. Good luck and don't give up your doggie is counting on you to make the fleas go away.
