NOW, It makes PAWfect sense
We have invested in a number of KONG dog products over the years, as well as other dog toys. Clearly there is a difference among them, and there IS as well within the KONG brand itself.
This is a perfect example. I didn't really understand, the differences between the red toys, v. The black (Xtreme Kongs), etc, but the puppy ones are geared FOR the puppy.

If you want individuals who do THIS engineering with a PAWpose, this is where you look for ways to treat those that you love, with the kid gloves they so richly deserve. The material is softer, geared towards a softer, sweet little mouth that needs more give, and one that sharp little needle teeth won't puncture, but have the time of their life playing with, before yet another nap...
This is not your mama or papa's KONG.
They are made for different times and from what we have witnessed, they are also getting it right. I'm kind of proud of a company that puts an animal first that way. Its rather sweet.
Needs a hole at other end
We bought this for a puppy we have. We also bought the stick treats that go in it. (They need to come up with a package deal that includes both, they are very expensive individually!). He would chew the end off the stick and then it was lodged in there and theres really no way to get it out unless you are He-man or chew on the end of it yourself to force it forward. its really tough for a puppy to do either. Now that he is older and has more strength, he is able to work it out a little better but now its too small to be safely used for his size, but it works as a teether! Just not that great as a treat dispenser.
