Extract of Perna mussel contains additional glucosamine and other compounds that help maintain joint mobility. Ascorbic acid is an antioxidant. Antioxidants help remove damaging free radicals. Manganese is a mineral essential to the formation of connective tissue (such as cartilage). Biotin, for keratin development essential in the hoof and in hair, is also found in the product.
