Helps a lot with barking
When I first used these collars on my dogs (6 of them) were startled and somewhat confused. But after a few times of using them, some of the dogs stop barking when I just show the collar to them. The other dogs don't bark at all when it is on, and no longer get the little shock - they just remember.
