Probios Digestion Support HorseTreats in a 12.5 lb plastic pail are AVAILABLE NOW!
Probios Horse Treats are a lactose-free treat that contains a source of direct fed microbials that encourage healthy digestion by supporting and maintaining proper intestinal flora and nutrient absorption. These treats utilize the benefits of two species of beneficial bacteria, Bacillus licheniformis and Bacillis subtilis. Both of them have been proven to withstand the process used to manufacture the treats.
Probios Horse Treats are perfect for use horses of all breeds and ages. Probiotics have been found to boost animals' immune systems and studies have shown improved responses to infections. Other studies have shown that healthy intestinal bacteria may help counteract stress-related intestinal disorders caused by situations such as a new horse in the field, transportation, training, or loss of a companion.
Digestion Support is the basis for the Horse Treat line. The probiotics support gastrointestinal health by sustaining the good bacteria in your horse's gut.
Hip and Joint contains all of the benefits found in the original Digestion Support Formula and also supports healthy joint function by including glucosamine HCL, an amino sugar closely related to a major component of cartilage, and chondroitin sulfate, a structural component of cartilage.
Horses love the apple flavor of these treats, which can be given alone or mixed with food as a supplement. The recommended dosage is three to six treats daily.
The treats come in a 1 pound bag, and the Digestion Support formula also comes in a 12.5 pound plastic pail.
Because of the live microbials present, it is recommended to store the bag in a cool, dry place for maximum stability.

We appreciate the convenience and saving of ordering online and our horses love them
review by john & sue
We started using the Probios treats when we adopted a standardbred rescue mare about a year ago. The foster family had been giving them to her and felt they had helped her. We do not use this mare but are just giving her a good few last years as her previous lives as a racehorse and Amish horse took, their toll on her legs. She was purchased from a kill lot by the rescue group and was very much underweight. She is beautiful and sleek with a shiny coat now, even the winter coat shines. We also give these treats to our 25-year-old Arabian gelding and our pony. It is an easy way to give these supplements and the horses love them.
When we applied for our first rebate, we got the information about ordering online which saves a lot of money, and we always order enough to get free shipping. This way we not only save money but have the convenience of always having the treats on hand. (Posted on 1/9/12) -
Not enough time to evaluate
review by Virginia
I got some free with a recent order. My horses and donkey liked them so I ordered some. My pockets are constantly sniffed when the treats are stashed there. I've not noticed much effect, but then they've not had digestive troubles. (Posted on 11/19/11)

Best Treats for Training!
review by Easy Does It Horsemanship
Not only do I give these treats as a daily supplement, but I use them for training treats. I break each one in half, and keep several in my pocket. When I get in the saddle, they each know to flex both ways for their treat before we head out on the trail or begin training. I think these are absolute genius! (Posted on 7/31/11)

My Bunnies Love It!
review by Julie P
Both of my house rabbits, yes house rabbits, receive one Probios digestive Support "cookie" daily. This really seems to help keep their digestive systems in tip top shape.
Both love their morning "cookie" and come running at treat time. I wish the apple ones were still available. (Posted on 7/16/11) -
The perfect probiotic treat for horses on pasture!
review by Shannon
I have two horses which honestly, beg for these treats every day. Everyday when they see me pull in they run to the barn and whinny until i give them their Probios Treats. I use Probiotics for myself and I am glad that these treats are so easy to give to my horses since they do not get daily grain and are predominately pasture horses. I can even feel good about using these treats as training treats while breaking our youngest horse. He is very open to doing just about anything, but at the end of each session he always looks for his Probios Digestion Support Horse Treats! (Posted on 7/14/11)

It feels so good knowing the treats I give actually help my horses!
review by Stacy
Not only do my horses absolutely love these treats, but I love them because I know the treats benefit their health - they may even be keeping away the gas colic they have had in the past 'cause I haven't had any since I started giving these on a routine basis. (Posted on 6/1/11)

Great for House Rabbit Digestion
review by Rabbit Mom
This product is terrific! My rabbits adore it & beg for their "cookie" every morning. It really seems to help keep their "funny bunny" digestive system in great working order. I absolutely cannot run out! Disapproving rabbits can ruin one's day! (Posted on 1/13/11)

No more diarrhea
review by K. Misner
My filly Dee had diarrhea over a whole weekend so I had my vet come out to look at her. She's had a few episodes before, but this one was the worst. The vet said it might be irritable bowel syndrome because this had happened a few times before and recommended switching her to hay and adding a probiotic. I found these treats and they're really easy to use, so I've been giving them to her every day for a couple weeks. I definitely saw an improvement and decided I'm going to keep adding them to her feed. (Posted on 12/30/10)

Definitely works for my horses
review by Jim Carter
My 26 year old gelding loves these treats, and they seem to be helping him. I started him on the treats about 2 months ago, and his joints appear to be improving. He definitely seems to have an easier time moving around and getting into the trailer. i have 4 horses and I want to start feeding these to all of them. (Posted on 12/30/10)

Best Treat Since Apples
review by Julianne
My horses go crazy for these treats. It is amazing that they can hear me open a bag all the way across the pasture. They come running. Not only do they love them, but they are wonderful for their digestive system as well. They would rather have these instead of an apple or carrot. (Posted on 11/24/10)

Excellent product. Easy to feed and the horses gobble them up...
review by MintHillFarm
I would highly suggest the Probiotic treats. Especially, if you are like me, and have horses that don't like powdery supplements. My horses love these... (Posted on 7/28/10)
