Will ProZyme Interfere with other medications or supplements?

No, ProZyme will not interfere with medications and since it helps break down nutrients, it can actually complement other supplements.

When will I see results?

Veterinarians and pet owners report improvement from one to eight weeks after beginning consistent use (serving with each meal).

Once I have observed results do I need to keep using ProZyme?

Yes. Most foods will not contain adequate enzymes because the head used in manufacturing destroys them. Also, enzyme production in the body drops off the older an animal becomes. For best results, continue to feed ProZyme for the life of your pet.

Should I reduce the amount of food I feed my pet after he or she starts taking ProZyme?

Customer's experience indicated that less food may be needed to maintian the pet's weight. If the goal is for the animal to gain weight, do not cut back on the amount of food given.

How should I store ProZyme?

For best results, store in a dry place at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Do not refrigerate.

I'd like to avoid feeding my pet anything that contains dairy - do you have a product that suits my needs?

ProZyme Plus is a lactose-free formulation designed for pets with a low tolerance for lactose or for pets adhering to a vegan diet.

What ProZyme product should I use for large animals?

Prozyme Equine formula is designed for horses and even has alfalfa powder to provide more flavor appeal.

Is there an expiration date on ProZyme?

No. If the product is stores properly, it should last several years. The numbers that are on thebottle are the manfacturing date and the time of day it was manufactured. For example, if the numbers on the bottle were 9105 10:15 it means that the product was manufactured on the 105th day of 2009 at 10:15.

Can you mix food with ProZyme and freeze for use later?

If feeding raw diets that need to be frozen, pre-freeze the protion and then add the Prozyme to the portion. Any Amount of water will activate the enzymes. WHile thawing the portion be sure to put the portion in your refrigerator until ready to serve.

Can Humans take Prozyme or Prozyme Plus?

These products are labeled for animals. For humans we offer TymeZyme, which is formulated and labeled for humans as it contains an additional lactase enzyme to help break down lactose.
