Directions
Horses - For a 1000 lb horse, one tablespoon (9.0 g) mixed with a little warm water or molasses and added to the morning and evening feeds.
Smaller Animals -

Didn't live up to expectations
From the reviews I had read, I thought this would be a perfect answer to my dog's allergy issues. I gave it to her for months, just to make sure it had plenty of time to work, and...absolutely nothing happened. There was no change in her itching or symptoms at all. It was worth a shot, but there is def. a vet trip in her future.
Great For Allergy
My black lab was constantly itching and licking on paws. Since using the seameal, itching has subsided and coat improving.
Solid Gold Sea Meal
Solid Gold Sea Meal has been used in family for at least 15 years. We add it to our dog's food from day one. Dogs that were adopted have improved digestion and it helps them overcome a weak immune system that results in hot spots and other skin conditions. It seems to help their tooth health too. I definitely recommend supplementing with Solid Gold Sea Meal!
Completely Satisfied
I have an English Bulldog that has allergies that cause his skin to be irritated and his coat fall out. After about 3 months on Sealmeal Powder his skin cleared up and coat grew back. I have continued to give him 1/2 of teaspoon with each meal for the past 3 years and the problem has not returned. I am constantly getting compliments about how nice his coat looks. I recommend Seameal Power for any animal that experiences allergy related skin problems.
great product
my 12lb chihuahua is no longer licking her feet and chewing on herself. The vet sold me a product for $85.00 and it only made her constipated and I never saw such hurt in her eyes. I only gave her 1 pill and the vet also gave her a shot. He said call me if his perscriptions didn't work. I also have a 35 lb. dog and have to increase her dosage. She's itching like mad!!!My 85 lb. seems to be doing real well. I will have to add seameal to my cat's food. Thank you!!!!
Solid Gold Sea meal
I feed a raw diet as well as adding the Solid Gold. This is an outstanding product. It makes black dogs dark black and takes away that redish tinge you see when their in the sun.
People always coment on how shiney my dogs are.
Good supplement
I got this as a supplement for my dogs and it has really improved their coats and helped bring out a healthy shine! This has also greatly helped a stray we picked up with his coat/allergies issues, and getting his digestive system back on track!
Preventative I LOVE
While I believe I feed a high quality food I also believe it is important to supplement. I chose this product to add as a preventative for my dogs. Many human illnesses are now being found in our canine buds. One of which is thyroid problems. I would rather give my animals a natural supplement to prevent an illness before there is a problem with their health then pay my vet for a pricey synthetic drugs. Hopefully it's true that we are what we eat and my forethought will protect their future health.
Wonderful product
This product has given my 20 lb dog some relief from her terrible scratching due to allergies. This is a healthy product that I am not afraid to use twice a day, sprinkled on her dog food. Tip: Add a teaspoon of water or yogurt to dry dog food so the product coats the dry food nuggets : )
Wonderful for allergies
This dry powder added to my dogs food twice a day has helped her allergies enormously!! She was scratching herself raw. Now she has itchy paws occasionally but that is all. No more raw skin on her body or up all night with her scratching endlessly. I mix some blueberry yogurt with the powder instead of water and it adheres to the dry dog food pellets easy. My dog loves the taste of it with the water mix or the yogurt mix. I highly recommend this product.
This is a great product
My dog Lily insists on eating large quantities of grass on a daily basis. i guess there are nutrients that help her digestion. She has a sensitive stomach. I bought this Solid Gold Sea Meal and it really didn't do anything UNTIL I doubled the quantitiy suggested for her size. Now she is not eating much grass and also having perfect bowel movements.
An Excellent Food Supplement
We have a wirehaired Dachshund and an American Pitbull Terrier, and began adding this product to their food in March, 2011. We were excited to see that very little needed to be used. We feed our dogs premium, all natural, dog food, and for a change of pace will include raw food periodically. We also add Salmon Oil with Rosemary extract to their food, along with yogurt and cottage cheese in rotation. So, they already were on a diet conducive to great skin and coat. But, after adding Solid Gold Seameal powder to their food, the improvement in their coat was noticeable within a couple of weeks. Their coats now glisten in the sunlight, and are noticeably softer than before. Highly recommended.
Amazing!
My cat had a horrible bladder infection that lasted for a long time. She was really stressed and lost all of her hair on her lower belly and hind legs. It looked awful. I was already feeding Solid Gold food, so I decided to try the Seameal. It was amazing. Within a couple of months, her hair was completely grown back. People comment on how soft and shiny her coat is.
Good product
After noticing mentions about Solid Gold's Seameal Powder in a few dog magazines, I thought that I'd try it out to see if it might work with my dog bouncer who has swelling in his large intestine. Bouncer's bloating is so bad that I just had to do something for him because it seems to cause him a great deal of pain and also makes messy diarrhea. I have to say that it's helped to greatly improve his digestion and he is now having solid poops again. I can't speak for Bouncer, but I think he'd agree when I say that he seems to actually like the Seameal Powder in his food (which surprised me because it seems that most treatments are not enjoyable). If your dog is experiencing any type of digestive upset at all, this seems to me to be a great place to start because it's affordable, easy to feed, and works like a charm!
