A palatable liquid formula that contains 500 mg/oz. of pure thiamine (B1) along with calcium, magnesium, potassium, and chloride. Calcium and magnesium interact with the thiamine to enhance the effectiveness of the B vitamin. Chloride was added to provide an acid/base balance, and potassium helps protect against muscle weakness, nervousness and irritability. Use Thia-Cal for horses subject to stress or for horses with nervous dispositions.

Feeding Recommendations: For a 1000 lb horse, top-dress two ounces on feed daily for 8 days. Give one ounce daily thereafter.

good product
I moved and had to switch trainors. My gelding had a difficult time with the move, and was really nervous, was having trouble jumping, responding to me, etc. After a month on this stuff, he's doing so much better. I took him off for a few days to see if it was just because he was getting more used to things, but he got the nerves again. This really makes a difference, and he likes the taste, seems to be eating a little better than before too.
