Solid Gold has been one of the top brands of pet food since 1974. Their Wolf King formula is made with bison and ocean fish meal, which are the first two ingredients in the food. Other companies use products such as animal digest in their foods. unlike them, Solid Gold guarantees that the meat in this food comes from healthy sources. Because the protein sources are the first ingredients, your dog will receive more nutrition out of a smaller amount of food so that there is less waste in their system.

Solid Gold does not include corn, soy, or wheat in their foods, as many dogs are allergic to them. They only use millet, cracked pearled barley, and brown rice, which are nutritious whole grains. I have a pit bull who had a lot of digestion issues as a puppy. He also had a lot of skin issues such as hot spots and dandruff. I switched him to Wolf King when I switched him over to adult food, and within a couple of months the issues went away. He stopped having to go to the bathroom so much and having so much gas, and his coat got healthier. The dry patched went away and he's really soft and shiney now. I think this food really helped turn him around, plus he loves the taste. I had to get one of those bowls for fast eaters because he gobbles it down.

My Dog abosolutey loves this dog food. My dog is a black lab german short hair she is very active and this food helps to support her engery. She has been on other dog food and this dog food has help her to have an amazing coat. She is very soft and shiny, we get complaiments all the time. We love purchasing this dog food for our dog!
