What causes hairballs? How can I fix them?
My fat cat Jackson, has been having a lot of diffiulty wih hairballs. Does any one know of something that helps get rid of them?

When cats clean themselves, they ingest hair that falls out. It helps to brush them, but you need to get down to their skin to get all of the dead hair out. It's best to use a comb.

When my cat started having a lot of hairballs, I started giving her probiotics and a vitamin and mineral supplement every day. She hasn't had one since.

I started my cat on a high fiber diet to combat hairballs. It definitely works, but now there's a lot more in the litter box. Not sure which id worse!

Try putting some Vaseline on his paw so that he eats it. It will help get the hair out of his stomach from the right end.
