What do you put on hot spots?
My puppy got into something that really irritated his skin, and now he has hot spots. Id there anything I can put on them to help with the itching?

Some kind of cortisone treatment will help. You should call your vet.

Yeah, you should definitely use some anti-itch stuff. Try to put it on as soon as you see the irritated skin, and then it might not even develop into hot spots.

I use regular antibiotic ointment, but I make sure to cutor shave all of the surrounding fur away.
