Should I use probiotics while I'm giving my dog antibiotics?
Hello, I've heard that it can be good to give my dog probiotics while I'm giving her antibiotics. She got caught on a fence, and the cut became infected. The vet gave us a prescription, but when I was reading online, I saw that antibiotics might not be good for her. Does anyone know more about this?

Antibiotics will kill all of the baceria in your dog's system, including the good bacterial in her gut. Probiotics helps to replace the good bacteria.

I would definitely go with the probiotics. My dog was having constant ear problems for a while and had to be on them. They gave her diarrhea. I started using probiotics for her after a friend told me about them, and it really made a difference. I don't know why my vet didn't say anything about them.

I would definitely go with the probiotics. They do help with diarrhea, but they also stimulate the immune system and help with stress that your pet can feel beccause of illness.
