I have a 4 month old shih tzu. How often shouls I get her groomed?

The longer you want her hair, the more often you will have to have her groomed. Her hair is different as a puppy, so she won't need to be groomed as often until she gets her adult hair in, but you should still take her every 4 to 6 weeks, just to get her used to it and so the groomer can tell when her hair starts changing. Adult hair mattes more easily.
