I was wondering why do dogs lick? I found my dog in the woods, and she licks all the time. I don't know if that's normal, or if there's something wrong with her. She seems fine in every other way.

There are more than one reason why dogs lick. If she's licking her paws and the base of her tail, a lot of times that is a sign of food allergies. Try to find food that doesn't use corn, wheat, or soy. If that doesn't work, you can try a different protien source. Lamb is usually a good one. Some dogs are allergic to beef. Or you could try duck.
