Any aggressive dog training tips?
Does anyone have any aggressive dog training tips? Cleo's just a little pug, so it doesn't seem that serious, but I have neices and nephews, and I don't want him to bite one of them or something. He's from a puppy mill, so there have been a lot of issues to deal with. He's really good when it's juts us at the house, or even out, but when kids come to the house, he gets territorial or something.

Dogproblems.com has some good advice on what to do for aggressive dog training. I look at that site pretty often, and I like it because they aren't trying to sell anything.

Also, it's important for you to be dominant over your dog, and to teach the children how to act when they are around him. If they're too young to know how to behave around dogs (calm, not running or raising their arms by the dog's head) then you might have to kennel Cleo while they're around, at least until you have asserted your dominance. There are a lot of online sources of information, but also obedience classes can be helpful.

You might want to make sure that the kids aren't hurting your dog, especially if he hasn't always been that way, or only is toward them. They might be playing too rough or teasing him too much.
