How can I detoxify my body without getting extremely ill?

You def. have to be super careful with detox, you don't want to flush too many nutrients out and you want to detox specific things one at a time, ie liver, intestines, etc. Don't do a full body detox because it can send your system into shock. Research which foods are good for a certain cleanse/detox and which to avoid. Take supplements to help detox and help protect your system from shock. Honestly a cleansing is much gentler on the system and I prefer doing that.

I agree about being careful with detoxing! Cleansing is the way to go, gentle and natural. I've said this already on another question but I've found that the best way to cleanse is through liquid consumption. Drink something every two hours: water, fresh squeezed fruit/veggie juice, homemade soup and tea! Keeps your system rolling constantly, too, so it boosts your immune system, digestive process AND metabolism!!!
